Wizz Air: 225,000 passengers in Romania in January and February

During the first two months of 2009, low-cost airline company Wizz Air, transported 225,000 to and from Romania, 120% more than in the same period last year, stated Natasa Kazmer, Wizz Air manager corporate communication and public affairs.

The same period of 2008, the average occupancy rate on the Romanian flights was of approximately 80%%.

For this year, Wizz Air estimates a 1.7 mil. passengers traffic in Romania, 70% more than in 2008, when 900,000 passengers were registered.

For 2010, Wizz Air counts on 2.5 mil. pasengers.
