Upgrading works at Athenee Palace Hilton ground floor started in June

Athenee Palace Hilton hotel in Bucharest, 5 star clasified, allocated EUR 2 mil. to invest in upgrading this year.

The hotel finished the rehabilitation works of Roberto’s on La Strada terrace and plans to start the works in the public areas of the hotel’s floor, Brasserie and Le Bistrot restaurants, reception desk and Le Collonade being scheduled to be upgraded in turn in different periods from June to August 2010.

The hotel will remain open during the upgrading works.

Brasserie Restaurant will close and turned into a retail space while Le Bistrot restaurant will re-open under a new concept.

In 2009, George Copos businessman contracted a loan worth EUR 25 mil.  from BRD Societe Generale to support this investment and also other projects.
