Up to EUR 4,000 per day for the restaurants and cafes in the historical center of Bucharest

Approximately 50 cafes, bars and restaurants opened in the Old Town of Bucharest, mostly this year.

The owners stated that the average daily sales ranges between EUR 700 and 1,200, some restaurants reaching up to EUR 4,000 per day.

According to the calculations of Ziarul Financiar newspaper, on the basis of the information provided by the owners, the units register businesses of EUR 40,000 per day and over EUR 10 mil. annually, considering that sales halve during the cold season.
