Two new visiting tours launched by Parliament Palace in Bucharest

The Parliament Palace introduced two new visiting tours of the majestic building on July 9.

The first visiting tour will include the terrace to enjoy the city panorama. A small restaurant will also open for visitors in this area. The price for this tour is EUR 3.5 per person.

The second tour includes a segment of the building basement. Tariff for this tour reaches EUR 2.3 per person.

Further, tourists can choose the standard visiting tour of EUR 5.9 per person which includes access to 8 conference halls, one protocol hall and 4 galleries.

Moreover, tourists can choose a combined visit of a standard tour and city panorama costing EUR 8.2 per person or the standard tour and visiting a segment of the basement, EUR 7.1 per person.

The complete visiting tour will cost EUR 10.6 per person.

According to the available data, 152,107 tourists visited the Parliament Palace in Bucharest in 2009, out of which approximately 75% were foreign tourists.

Deputies Chamber specifies the measures to diversify the visiting tour envisage to show both the opening desire of the institution towards the citizens, but also to ensure the promotion of the building image on a higher scale for Romanian and foreign tourists so that the building of the Parliament Palace should remain the main attraction of the capital.
