TUI announced its return on the Romanian market will be conditioned of four elements: seaside functionality in a well defined season, starting at May 15 the latest and ending on September 15; the necessity of direct flights between Germany and Constanta; the Ministry for Tourism together with TUI operator has to start common marketing campaigns for a better promotion of Romania as tourist destination. The final condition was that hotel tariffs on the Romanian seaside should be competitive.
Tim Grosse, General Manager of Danubius, subsidiary of TUI in Romania, stated that the Minister of Tourism, Elena Udrea considered viable these preliminary conditions.
