Traian Vuia International Airport: 6% increase in passengers' number

In the first semester of the year, the number of passengers increased by 6% on Traian Vuia International Airport, Timisoara, up to 433,000 passengers, compared to the same period last year.

Revenues increased by 15%, compared to the similar period last year, while expenditures went up 32%, due to runway repairs.

According to the data provided by the Ministry of Transport, the airport turnover increased by 8% in the first six months of the year. Profit index was close to 13% in the first semester of 2009.
