The traffic on the main four airports in Romania, Otopeni, Baneasa, Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca, increased by 60% in only 2 years, from 5 mil. to approximately 8.5 mil. passengers, according to a survey of anna.aero. The demand for air traffic from and towards Romania increased significantly since Romania’s EU accession at the beginning of 2007 until present The main destination for Romanians is Italy, followed by Germany and Spain.
