For the first time, Michelin Green Guide has allocated an entire volume to Romania at the end of the last year. The regions with the highest scores are Sibiu, Sighetu Marmatiei, Maramures, Bucovina and Danube Delta.
Bucharest was graded 2 star, while favorite destinations of Romanians such as Prahova Valley and seaside resorts scored 2 and 1 star, respectively. Romanian seaside is considered too narrow and crowded. According to Michelin system, the objectives receiving 3 Michelin stars are worth visiting, the 2 star destinations are worth a detour to reach them, while the 1 star objectives are considered interesting.
