Sorin Munteanu, State Secretary within the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, stated that MDRT will promote, together with the European Commission, two cultural routes in Romania, namely the fortified churches in Transilvania and the UNESCO monasteries in Bucovina.
Gheorghe Flutur, President of Suceava County Council, specified that the authorities in Suceava will sign three more contracts by the end of March for projects supported by European funds to rehabilitate historical monuments, Dragomirna, Sucevita and Moldovita monasteries.
Three weeks ago, the County Council signed a contract valued at EUR 14 mil. for the rehabilitation of Suceava Old Citadel.
