Tourism law was submitted to public debate on November 5

Elena Udrea, the interim Minister of Tourism, stated that the project of tourism law was completed on November 4 and submitted to public debate starting November 5.

The new law includes measures such as introducing a unique hotel tax of 2%, 9% VAT for all accommodation services, profit tax exemption on one to five years for those investing between EUR 100,000 to 10 mil. and also building tax exemption for the seaside and rural areas investors, stated Udrea, following the meeting of the Tourism Consultative Council.
