Golden Tulip hotel chain will launch four new brands in Romania, following the partnership with Louvre Hotels French hotel chain, starting by the end of 2011.
Paul Marasoiu, Regional Manager for Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria of Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts, stated that the four brands entering the local market are Premiere Classe –1star classified, Campanile – 2 star classified, Kyriad – 3 star classified and Kyriad Prestige – 3 star superior classified.
The representative of Golden Tulip specified that greenfield projects are preferred for the new hotels, up to every brand features, but evaluating existing properties is also an option, up to the possibility of adapting to the concept. The cities envisaged for the new brands are Bucharest and large cities, in phase one. Currently projects in Iasi, Targu Mures and Arad are under evaluation.
Golden Tulip is one of the foreign hotel chains with a large network in Romania, like Best Western and Wyndham.
