The Government expanded from five to six months the period of 50% tax-free on buildings and land for seasonable tourist units. The tourist season might be extended, stated Lucia Morariu, State Secretary for Tourism within the Ministry for SMES, Commerce, Tourism and Liberal Professions.
Thus, the hotel units with seasonable activity, first the ones located on the Black Sea seaside, could be stimulated to start their activity earlier. The tourism season will be longer and the chances that tourists come to the resorts starting April will increase, stated Morariu.
