The former football player Gica Popescu to invest EUR 25 mil. in developing a hotel in Bucharest

This year,Gica Popescu, the former football player will start the construction works of a hotel with 144 rooms, located in the sector 1 of the capital. 

The total investment will reach EUR 25 mil., including land value, already in property, stated Popescu.

Popescu plans to affiliate the future hotel to an international brand, but has not decided over the affiliation yet . 

Moreover, the business man plans to develop another hotel or an office building located in the northern area of the capital, but this depends on the architects plans and analysis. In case of a hotel, at least 125 rooms are foreseen. The land for this investment has also been purchased.
