Wyndham hotel group plans to enter the Romanian market after 2010 with a Wyndham hotel. The unit will be developed in Bucharest, stated Tinu Sebesanu, executive manager of Trend Hospitality, strategic partner in Romania of Wyndham group.
Wyndham hotel group includes brands such as Howard Johnson, Days Inn, Ramada and Wyndham.
The American group also considers expanding the Ramada network in Romania. Thus, this year two Ramada hotels will open in Romania, one in Cluj-Napoca and one in Oradea. Construction works for other two units in Pitesti and Timisoara will start soon.
Sebesanu stated that the company would open Ramada Encore and Days Inn hotels in secondary localities, having more than 200,000 inhabitants.
