The first in the sky restaurant in Romania to be launched in May

In May this year, Event in the Sky international company will launch in Romania a concept named air restaurant, consisting in hosting events outdoor on a platform 50 m above ground.

In Romania, the company will be represented by Sky Touring & Events.

Ovidiu Barbier, one of the company’s shareholders, stated that the platform has been already brought in Romania. At present, there are undergoing negotiations with luxury hotels, but also with cultural institutions, for organizing events.

Barbier estimates that the restaurant will host 50 such events in the first year of operating.
The price for renting the platform and the necessary personnel for an event with 22 persons is EUR 8,900 but the package including other services too, including catering, is EUR 15,000 on average. The final price is up to what the clients' wishes. 

The suspended restaurant will be placed in tourism areas, but also in main cities up to the clients demand.

The concept of “in the sky restaurant” is present in 32 countries in Europe and America.
