The first hotel Hampton by Hilton in Romania to be located in Brasov

Hilton hotel group has signed a management contract with a Romanian company in Brasov for a Hampton hotel, the brand included in the economy segment of the brand.

The project will be completed by the half of 2011, stated Mike Collini, Development Vice-President of the hotel chain for Northern Europe.

The hotel will have 104 rooms and will most likely be 3 star classified.

Hilton’s representative also stated that it is possible that the hotel chain announces a new hotel in Romania, under Hilton Garden brand within 3 months.

Hampton brand is part of the focus-service division owned by Hilton, which includes Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Hampton and Home2 Suites.

Hilton, Doubletree and Embassy Suites brands are part of the full-service division.

The hotel’s classifying is up to each market features and criteria of the local authorities.

Hilton is also negotiating to affiliate other units on the Romanian market according to the Development Manger.

On the Romanian market, Hilton is present through Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest, Hilton Sibiu and the future Doubletree hotel located in Oradea.
