Tarom national airline planned EUR 397.6 mil. revenues for the current year, by 48% higher than last year estimates, according to the project for the approval of the 2010 budget of revenues and expenses.
The total budgeted expenses reach EUR 392.8 mil., out of which EUR 320.5 mil. are operating expenses, including EUR 49,8 mil. personnel expenses. The financial expenses are estimated at EUR 72.3 mil.
The investments planned by Tarom for 2010 reach EUR 93.1 mil. According to the company's balance sheet for 2009, Tarom posted EUR 267.5 mil. revenues, 27% lower than compared to the result estimated in the budget at the beginning of the year. The company also forecasts EUR 21.5 mil. loss, as a result of the global crisis. In 2009, Tarom transported more than 1.72 mil. passengers.
