The three main airlines on the local market considering the number of transported passengers, respectively Tarom, Blue Air and Wizz Air, introduced approximately 30 new flights towards abroad destinations this year.
Tarom public company which introduced 11 new destinations last year in its schedule, announced introducing flights towards Nice, Riga and Damascus.
Blue Air Romanian low-cost company which launched 11 new flights last year, continues the expanding strategy introducing 13 new flights this year with departure from Bucharest and Sibiu and three new external flights operated from Larnaca base, recently opened.
Bucharest - Florence, Bucharest - Dublin, Sibiu - Stuttgart, Sibiu – Valencia are some of the new flights introduced this year by Blue Air.
Wizz Air Hungarian low-cost company introduced this year 10 new flights mainly towards destinations in Italy, Spain and Germany, consolidating traffic on these markets which generate significant revenues. This year, the company will operate flights towards Zaragoza, Alicante, Pisa, Bologna and other destinations.
