Tarom: 863,000 passengers on the first seven months

Tarom airlines transported 863,000 passengers from January to July 2009, 13.1% less, compared to the similar period in 2008, according to the data of the Association of European Airlines, AEA. In the specified period, the occupancy reached 52.2%.

In July, the number of passengers flying with Tarom declined 8% compared to July 2008, down to 160,000. The occupancy rate in July was 63.9%.

In the first semester, Tarom reported EUR 10.55 mil.loss.
