Tarom: 15.1% less transported passengers in April 2009

Tarom airline transported 437,000 passengers between January and April 2009, 15.1% less, compared to the same period last year, according to the data of the Association of European Airlines, AEA.

The average occupancy registered in the period was 48%, 11.9% lower than compared to the same period in 2008.

In April, Tarom transported 124,700 persons, declining 11.7% compared to the same month last year.

The average occupancy in April was 53.2%, 7.9% less than in April 2008.
