In the first nine months of this year, Tarom airline registered a decrease by 10.6% of the transported passengers from and towards Romania, down to 1.19 mil. passengers, according to the report of the Association of European Airlines, AEA.
In September, the company reported 1.7% decrease of passengers’ number from and towards Romania compared to September 2008, down to 164,000.
The occupancy from January to September reached 55.6%, dropping 8.5% compared to the similar period in 2008.
Tarom reported EUR 10.6 mil. loss in the first six months of the year.
