Starlight Suiten Hotel officially opened on October 7

The Austrian apart-hotels chain, Starlight Suiten Hotel, officially opened a 4 star apart-hotel in Bucharest on October 7, following an investment estimated at EUR 7 mil.

The apart-hotel has 78 rooms and it is part of Metropolis Center project, which includes office spaces, as well as a commercial area.

The unit has been operational since July. Georgeta Grecu, Resident Manager of Starlight Suiten Hotel, stated that the unit reported a low occupancy in July and August, but the occupancy reached 30% in September. For 2009, the average occupancy rate is estimated at 60%.
