In 2008, the International Airport Sibiu registered an increase of passengers’ number by 47% compared to 2007, up to 165,057 passengers, stated the airport’s representatives.
This year, the development strategy of airport traffic includes attracting new operators such as Ryanair, Wizz Air or Malev.
For this year, the airport’s representatives estimate a traffic increase by at least 50%, compared to 2008.
