Sibiu Hilton Hotel could open in June

Palace Resort&Spa Hotel in Sibiu will open under Hilton brand most likely in June, after the initial announcement of opening in April.

Dana Modrescu, marketing&PR manager of Palace Resort&Spa, stated that another verification will be made at the beginning of May and then the data of opening will be settled.

The hotel must comply with 2,000 standards in order to be affiliated to Hilton brand.

Palace Resort&Spa, future Hilton Sibiu, is a 5 star complex with 115 rooms and apartments, 4 restaurants, a bar and 5 conference halls.

A spa center covering an area of 1,500 sq m, administered by Eden Spa, has recently opened within the hotel in Sibiu. The center includes swimming pool, Finish sauna, aroma sauna, infrared cabin, Kneipp bath, relaxing halls with thermal armchairs, stated Modrescu.

Unlike the 5 star Hilton hotel in Bucharest, operating under management contract, Hilton Hotel in Sibiu will be operated under franchise system. The owner has the possibility to choose its management team.

The investments of Nicolae Minea businessman in Palace Resort&Spa hotel reach approximately EUR 25 mil.
