Seytour Medical Tourism agency opened on the Romanian market last week, providing medical tourism packages both in Romania and abroad. Razvan Nacea, CEO of Seytour Medical Tourism company, stated that it is difficult to estimate the turnover of medical tourism market in Romania. He mentioned that the market reached approximately EUR 32 mil. in 2003, when 50,000 tourists visited Romania and foresees that the market will reach EUR 100 mil. in 2015, with a 30% annual growth rate. Foreign tourists come to Romania mostly for plastic surgery and dentistry services, choosing the medical services in our country for their tariffs, down to 40% lower that in their home countries. Seytour Medical Tourism also offers holidays packages including surgery services that cannot be performed in Romania and exclusive plastic surgery packages in exotic islands, as well as routine health controls in private clinics abroad.
