Romsilva puts on sale unprofitable mountain chalets

Romsilva chalets reporting losses will be put on sale by the Ministry of Agriculture, through public auction, as it happened with hunting funds, stated the Ministry Ilie Sarbu.

Florian Munteanu, General Manager of the National Forestry Authority, RNP, Romsilva, stated that RNP has 44 estates to be put on sale, mentioning that only the buildings will be put on sale, while the lands will be leased on 49 years period or as long as the buildings exist.

The auction is scheduled for August 14.

According to the GM of RNP, Romsilva owns more than 900 buildings, out of which 62 are part of the tourism activity.
