According to a study of Eden SPA carried out on a sample of more than 5,000 customers, over 70% of those visiting spa centers for relaxation, spent up to EUR 280 monthly. Most of those coming to Eden Spa are sedentary persons and suffer from a long immobility. The profile of Romanian frequently going to spa centers is: • Young - 56%, ages between 26 and 35; 23% ages between 36 and 50 and 12% between 18 and 25; 80% have university degrees, work under pressure, occupying middle and top management positions.
• 75% of those choosing spa services envisage relaxation, invigorating and detoxifying.
• They are health oriented persons - 67% are non smokers, while 66% drink at least 1 to 2 liters of water per day.
• 75% of persons - although they are sleeping between 6 and 8 hours per night and don’t have troubles with insomnia, complain about restless sleep.
• 57% have problems related to cellulite, 33% with short circulation, 22% suffer from water retention and 23% have a lazy intestinal transit.
• Spa centers customers care about their look - 41% practicing sports on a regular basis.
