Domestic tourism will increase by 10% this year, compared to the previous year, up to 5 mil. visitors, out of which approximately 1.4 mil. will visit the seaside resorts, stated the President of the National Association of Travel Agencies, Dragos Anastasiu.
Tour-operators appreciate the outgoing tourism will stagnate in the worst scenario or it will register a 5 to 7% growth.
Anastasiu stated that incoming tourism registered a slightly decrease at the beginning of the year but the situation will improve thanks to foreign tourists choosing last minute packages.
