At the quarter of WBF-GTZ was held the meeting to set up FAPT, the Federation of Tourism Promotion Associations in Romania at the occasion of the Tourism Fair due to the common initiative of the associations for tourism promotion in Romania and the German Program of Economic Promotion and Employment.
FAPT plans to contribute to the improvement of marketing activities and branding of destinations and tourism products provided by the associations, promoting local brands, developing incoming programs, sustaining the promotion of Romania at national and international fairs by organizing stands for tourism destinations.
Founder members were the Association for Developing and Promoting Seaside Tourism, the Association for Tourism in Bucovina, Association for Tourism in Banat, Oltenia de Sub Munte Association, Maramures Infoturism, Association for Tourism in Prahova, Sibiu County Association for Tourism and Sighisoara Tourism Association.
