By the occasion of opening Romania’s Tourism Office in Warsaw, the representatives of the Ministry of Tourism estimated the number of Polish tourists visiting Romania at over 600,000 within the next 2 years, compared to 276,525 in 2008.
Gheorghe Predescu, Romania’s ambassador in Poland specified that, until the 90’s, tourists from Poland represented a significant share in the total number of foreign tourists visiting Romania.
Romania was present at the 17th edition of Tour&Travel international tourism Fair in Warsaw, held between September 24 and 26.
