Romania and Republic of Moldova encourage promoting mutual tourism programs

Sorin Muntenau, State Secretary within the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, MDRT and Ludmila Dumitras, General Manger of Agency for Tourism in Republic of Moldova, have discussed about cooperation between the two countries, in order to mutually promote the tourism programs.

The representatives of the two countries have mentioned the possibility of Romanian authorities to support the authorities of Republic of Moldova regarding the legislation in tourism, operation standards and personnel training.

Another subject of the meeting was the possibility of developing tourism in the two countries by accessing European funds within the Regional Cross-Border Cooperation Program for Romania – Ukraine – Republic of Moldova.

“Wine road” and “Monasteries Itinerary” tours are two of the projects to be developed through this program.
