Tinu Sebesanu, president of the consultancy company Trend Hospitality, the representative of Wyndham hotel chain in Romania, announced the affiliation of the first hotel of Ramada chain in Chisinau. Codru Hotel in Chisinau, owned by the American Investment Development Group, is currently in rehabilitation process, in order to become Ramada Chisinau City Center in the first part of 2010. The hotel will be 4 star classified and will have approximately 150 rooms. The cost per a room at a 4 star hotel reaches approximately EUR 60,000. The hotel’s upgrading will thus cost approximately EUR 9 mil. Investment Development Group also owns Nobil Luxury Boutique Hotel in Chisinau, one of the three 3 star hotels in the city. Ramada Chisinau City Center will be the first hotel affiliated to an international brand in the capital of the Republic of Moldova.
