Torbjorn Bodin, General Manager of the 5 star hotel Radisson SAS, foresees the financial crisis will have a negative impact on business travels, which will decline in 2009. Thus, to ensure clients flow, Bodin decided to reduce tariffs. The strategy has already been applied.
The tariff per room will be EUR 120 plus taxes, breakfast included.
The representative of Radisson SAS estimates for 2009 the locally occupancy rate of hotel units will not exceed 60%, due to the financial crisis.
