Pullman Hotel in the capital, 4 star classified registered a turnover of EUR 1.51 mil. in the first quarter, dropping by approximately 44% compared to the same period last year. Tariff per room dropped by approximately 20%, while the average occupancy rate was 55% in the first three months, stated Alain D’Addio, marketing and sales manager of Pullman Bucharest World Trade Center. D’Addio stated that the hotel’s strategy foresees maintaining the market share by meeting the customer’s budget. In 2008, the hotel with 188 rooms and 15 apartments registered EUR 19 mil. turnover, similar to the previous year. Starting 2009, Sofitel Hotel turned into Pullman brand.
