Poiana Brasov - the first ski resort recommended by Daily Mail to British tourists

Poiana Brasov resort is the most recommended ski destination for British tourists, concerning the value for money criteria, although prices increased compared to the last year, according to the survey of Post Office and posted by Daily Mail on the electronic edition.

Poiana Brasov provides complete services packages for skiers, including renting equipment services, permits for chair lift or meals, at an estimated cost of GBP 196.75 per week.

The second location in the top of ski destinations is Borovet resort in Bulgaria, with costs of GBP 250.87 per stay for a skier, followed by the resorts in Tatra Mountains in Slovakia, where the price for a week at ski is GBP 264.97.

The cost for a stay in Poiana Brasov resort increased by 4% compared to the survey carried out last year, while a week at Borovet costs 14% more and prices in Tatra Mountains went up 20%, according to Daily Mail.

By contrast, a stay in resorts such as Banff in Canada costs GBP 426.09 and GBP 422.21 per week in Verbier, Switzerland.
