Phoenicia Express: a new 4 star hotel in Bucharest

Mohammad Murat businessman, President of Perla Majestic group of companies, controlling Phoenicia hotel in Bucharest, will open a new 4 star hotel with 200 rooms, named Phoenicia Express, in less than two months in the northern area of the capital.

The company’s representatives stated that the construction works have been initiated two years and a half ago and were carried out by Triumf Construct company. Initially, the opening of the new hotel was scheduled for the end of 2008.

At the beginning of this month, the company announced hiring 80-100 persons for Phoenicia Express hotel.

The company’s projects also include developing another hotel, named Phoenicia Confort, with more than 100 rooms but company’s representatives have not provided other information related to the project status.

According to Murad’s previous statements, the budget for Phoenicia Express and Phoenicia Confort reaches EUR 12 mil.

In February, the company opened Phoenicia Aparthotel in Unirii district, 4 star classified with 55 apartments.

This year, Mohammad Murad will open another apart-hotel, Phoenicia Residential Apartments, which was scheduled to be a real estate project initially, at the date of the beginning of construction works in 2006.

Perla Majestic operates hotels at the seaside too, Majestic in Mamaia, Olimp and Jupiter, respectively and Forum Costinesti.
