Payment Agency for Rural Development and Fisheries allocated EUR 48 mil. to support tourism activities

Payment Agency for Rural Development and Fisheries, APDRP, allocated approximately EUR 48 mil. for the projects within the measure 312 “Supporting the setting up and the development of small enterprises” and Measure 313 “Supporting tourism activities”.

The bidders can submit projects between October 12 and November 6, 2009 at the Payment County Offices for Rural Development and Fisheries, OJPDRP, located in the regions where the investments are made.

The non-reimbursable support granted through the APDRP within these measures reaches maximum EUR 200,000 per project, accounting for 70% of the value of eligible expenditures related to the investment. 

Concerning the minimum mandatory conditions to access the funds related to Measure 312, the beneficiary must prove the ownership right on the land where the investment is to be developed or the usage right for a period of at least 10 years, according to the Applicant’s Guide.

The advance payment that the beneficiary could benefit of increased from 20 to 50%.

The small enterprises eligible within Measure 312 are companies with 100% private capital, handicraft cooperatives, consumption cooperatives, individual companies, family companies, sole proprietors and also family associations.  

Investments in non-agricultural productive activities from manufacturing include skin dressing, footwear, wool, fur and knitting goods or appliances.

Regarding the development and diversifying of services for rural population, the eligible investments refer to tailoring, barber’s shop, shoemaker’s shop services and also to services providing internet connection and distribution, mechanization and transport – other than transport means.

Investments in plants protection and artificial insemination of animals, car repairs services, tools and appliances are also eligible.
