Passengers of canceled flights can get their money back

Add comment

Passengers of canceled flights due to the ash cloud will not benefit of compensations for the inconvenience caused by the ash cloud problem.

However, airlines launched three alternatives for the passengers: either to be re-scheduled for a different flight, or be refunded, or keep the money in an account for a future flight.

Wizz Air low-cost company refunds the money following a written request, but all passengers have to be aware of the fact that money will not be refunded immediately, stated the spokesman of the company, Daniel Alexandru Amzar.

Passengers who booked flights from Tarom national operator can choose between rescheduled flights or refund. Luana Roth, PR & Communication Specialist within Tarom company, stated that refunding will be made by the agency which issued the ticket, even if it was not a Tarom agency.
