Parc Hotels Group in Bucharest: turnover dropping 18% in Q1

Parc Hotels Group, controlled by Gabriel Popoviciu businessman, which includes Ramada Plaza and Ramada Parc in the northern area of the capital, registered a turnover of EUR 1.6 mil. in the first quarter this year, decreasing by 18% compared to the same period of last year.

Ramada Plaza and Ramada Parc, 4 star classified, comprise 567 rooms. In 2008, the two hotels generated revenues of EUR 14 mil.

The average occupancy rate of rooms at the end of the first quarter was 49% for Ramada Bucharest Parc and 35% for Ramada Plaza Bucharest, stated Daniel Ben-Yehuda manager of Ramada Plaza and Ramada Parc.
