The project regarding the investment in the Parang ski area reaches approximately EUR 80 mil., out of which EUR 72.8 mil. are supported by Government through the Ministry of Tourism.

The project includes developing 30 km of ski slopes, a gondola of 8.2 km length to connect Petrosani city and Cota 1,600, an artificial lake and nine cable transport equipments, as Tiberiu Iacob-Ritzi, mayor of Petrosani city, stated at that time.
