Otopeni and Baneasa airports maintain the same tariffs as in 2008

This year, Otopeni and Baneasa airports will not modify the tariffs and rents for commercial spaces, compared to the last year, in order to support the airline companies and commercial segment, stated the representatives of the two units.

The strategy of Otopeni Airport in 2009 includes both maintaining the routes operated at present and attracting new operators. Otopeni Airport registered over 5 mil. passengers in 2008, 11% higher than compared to 2007.

The number of passengers on Baneasa Airport doubled last year compared to 2007, up to 1.8 mil., while the aircraft movements increased by 70% compared to 2007, to 30,000.
