Opera Plaza hotel, 5 star classified, located in Cluj-Napoca, owned by Octavian and Calin Buzoianu, registered an average occupancy of 66% in the first nine months of the year, declining by 12% compared to the same period last year.
The turnover dropped 10%, compared to the period from January to September 2008.
Opera Plaza representatives estimate a turnover of EUR 2.7 mil. for the current year, decreasing by 10% compared to the last year, while the occupancy is estimated at approximately 70%, declining 6% compared to 2008.
Opera Plaza has 52 rooms and apartments. The project was completed in July 2006, following a EUR 4.5 mil. investment.
The hotel’s management stated that there will be no major investments within Opera Plaza this year, but plans to organize training programs for employees.
