Acording to the data of the Ministry of Tourism, collected from the issuers all year long, the value of tickets issued until September was EUR 4.6 mil. in local currency.
In Hungary, holiday tickets generated revenues of dozens million euros for domestic tourism, in 1998, when a similar program to the one of the Minister of Tourism was initiated this year for Romania.
