Only 3 of the 13 initial associations between companies, which applied for the country’s brand, have scored more than 70 points after the evaluation process, qualifying for the next phase of the competition.
TBWA Bucuresti - GFK Romania, Saffron Brand Consultants - Brandient Consult - Acacia Avenue Limited and the partnership THR, Asesores en Turismo, Hoteleria y Recreacion - Taylor Nelson Sofres, respectively, are the groups biding further for the branding process. In order to develop Romania’s tourism brand, the Ministry of Tourism will contract services including: developing studies to understand the current image of our country on the tourism source markets, identifying the competitive advantages of Romania compared to other destinations, determining the best positioning of Romania as tourism destination, concept, creation and design, milestones for implementation and communication strategy. Romania allocated EUR 2 mil. for developing the tourism brand through POR, Regional Operational Program.
