Nadia Comaneci, Ilie Nastase and Gheorghe Hagi start to promote Romania at Paris

The international campaign for Romanian tourism promotion, which will be suppoted by Nadia Comaneci, Ilie Nastase and Gheorghe Hagi will start on June 5, 2009, in Paris, as associated events to Roland Garros Open, announced the Ministry for Tourism.

According to the Ministry, the esplanade of Paris city hall will host a tennis course. Ilie Nastase will be the partner of anyone interested to play. Together with Nadia Comaneci and Gheorghe Hagi, he will hand postcards of promoting Romanian tourism to tourists in Paris.

Romanian traditions will be presented in front of the city hall building, through an ensemble of folk dances, providing dance lessons in many market areas.

Moreover, banners to promote Romanian tourism will be hanged for a week on Champs Elysees Boulevard.

BRD and the Ministry for Tourism have recently signed a partnership to initiate a Romanian tourism promotion abroad, entitled “Romania, Land of Choice”. Image partners are the most famous Romanian sportsmen in the world, Nadia Comaneci, Nastase and Gheorghe Hagi.
