In September this year, the passengers’ traffic worldwide registered a decrease by 2.9% for the first time in the last 5 years, compared to the same period in 2007, according to the data released by the International Air Transport Association, IATA.
Giovanni Bisignani, CEO IATA, stated that continuing on this trend, the estimated losses of USD 5.2 bn. would be exceeded.
