Iaki Hotel in Mamaia will benefit of a EUR 1.22 mil. non-reimbursable EUR financing

The project of modernizing and expanding Iaki hotel in Mamaia, 4 star classified, obtained a European non-reimbursable financing worth EUR 1.22 mil. through the Regional Operational Program.

The total value of the project reaches approximately EUR 4 mil., out of which the beneficiary’s contribution is EUR 2.79 mil. The contract’s tenor is one year and the works will be completed until April 15, 2010,  according to the documentation of the hotel’s owner, Hagi Sport SRL.

Iaki hotel will be re-classified at 5 star category, as a result of the investments to be made according to the EU funds application paper. The hotel will have a conference hall, while the current accommodation capacity of 122 rooms, cumulating 244 bed places, will be extended to 149 rooms.

60 rooms, ultimately upgraded in 2001, have already been modernized until now. The accommodation capacity was extended with 27 new rooms this year, located on the fourth floor.

Romania benefits of an allocation worth EUR 3.73 bn. between 2007 and 2013, through the EU financing program.
