Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Bucharest: 10.5% turnover decrease in Q1 2010

Howard Johnson Grand Plaza hotel in Bucharest reported EUR 1.7 mil. turnover in the first quarter of the current year, decreasing by 10.5% compared to the same period last year.

In 2009, the hotel posted EUR 8 mil. turnover, 40% lower than the previous year, due to the economic crisis.

Sonia Nastase, General Manager of Howard Johnson Grand Plaza, stated that the unit registered a slight increase in occupancy in the first three months of 2010, compared to the same period last year, up to 45%.
