Hilton targets large cities in Romania to expand its hotel network

On July 17, the 5 star Palace Resort & Spa hotel in Sibiu, owned by Nicolae Minea businessman officially opened under Hilton brand, stated Hilton Vice-President for development in the Northern Europe, Mike Collini.

Palace Resort & Spa hotel, included in Palace Dumbrava portfolio in Sibiu, has 115 rooms. The necessary investment reached EUR 22-25 mil. for upgrading and rehabilitating works.

Palace Resort & Spa hotel will operate under franchise system, unlike the unit in the capital, which is operated under management contract.

Moreover, Collini stated the chain envisage Brasov, Timisoara, Constanta and Cluj-Napoca cities for expanding the network.
