Hilton Hotels Corporation (HHC) and S.C. Palace Dumbrava S.R.L. have recently signed in London a franchise contract to affiliate Palace Resort & SPA Hotel to the international chain. The hotel in Sibiu is the second Hilton unit in Romania.
Hotelul Palace Resort & SPA will be opened under Hilton Sibiu name at the beginning of 2009, following a refurbishing program.
Hilton Sibiu has 115 deluxe rooms, 4 restaurants, bar, 5 conference halls and a Grand Ballroom with a capacity of 1,000 persons. The hotel’s spa lies on an area of over 1,500 sq m including indoor pool, fitness, sauna, body therapy room and hairdressing.
Sibiu Hilton is located near Dumbrava Forest natural monument and lies within 3 km distance from the city centre.
At present, HHC owns over 160 hotels in over 30 countries in Europe.
